1991 - Rave in the UK was in full flow. I had been in Bournemouth for 3 months, it was my first term at Bournemouth Art School where I was studying photography. I remember the town feeling like it was populated with really old people or really young, not much in between. I had just got my first point and shoot Contax T-2 camera. This was the perfect tool to go raving with. This night everyone was billy bang on it. Body’s overheating. Pupils dilated. Rock & Vibes and Hector-C were DJing. As the flier stated ‘COMING AT YOU LIVE AND DIRECT, DON’T MISS ONE, EXCLUSIVELY FOR PHANTASY ‘91 - P.A. BY ‘N-JOI’.
