"COURTNEY LOVE made a rare public appearance in LONDON last night (March 21), DJing at former CREATION RECORDS impresario ALAN McGEE’s new club night, DEATH DISCO. 

Love arrived at the central London Metro Club well past midnight and took to the decks for over an hour. Love was accompanied on the evening by Anita Pallenberg, the former girlfriend of Keith Richards and original rock chick. She dedicated Primal Scream’s ‘Swastika Eyes’ to Pallenberg. There was tight security around Love when she was DJing, with security guards positioned by the booth preventing eager clubbers getting too close. When not playing tunes, Love was sashaying to them on the dancefloor.

Speaking to NME.COM, Alan McGee said: “It was true, bizarre madness. In 20 years time, people will still be talking about the night and people will claim they were there.”

Bobby Gillespie, Ian Broudie and former Specials frontman Terry Hall were also in attendance".
