'EUPHORIA'

Acrylic Fluro (Neon) Paintings, 1991 - Digitally Reworked in 2020

This collection is inspired by ‘Closed Eye Hallucinations’. Under psychedelics, when your eyes are closed the brain may function ‘as if’ there is a visual input when there is none - creating kaleidoscopic patterns.

The original paintings were made from neon acrylic paint and lit by black light, back in 1991 when I was a raver. In 2020 I rediscovered and digitally reworked these paintings. KALEID{E}SCAPES 'RAVE ON' were born and ready for the 3rd Millennium.
